The Delta is owned and operated by Delta Oceanographics. Between 1987 and 1990 A DSA member was employed as one of the principle pilots. The sub worked throughout the US including Alaska after the Exxon Valdez oil spill, Bahamas, Papua New Guinea, Australia, and numerous locations in the Caribbean. The Delta remains one of the most successful submarines in the world.
